A Good Man Is Never Wasted

Why good men & heavy drinking are incompatible

If I ask you what character traits make up “a good man,” what are the first words that pop into your head?

Words like honest, loyal, trustworthy, respectful, hard-working, and passionate will top the list.

There are variations of these words, but they all fall under the umbrella of “integrity.” Integrity has been called “the trait that guarantees all other traits.”

That’s another way of saying, “If you have integrity, you have your shit together.”

Women also find essential traits in men, such as kindness, empathy, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence, even though these aren’t traditional (or stereotypical) traits of masculinity.

These traits may not have helped fight off saber tooth tigers, but in the 21st century, they’re valuable attributes of manhood.
