Alcohol, McDonalds, & Cigarettes — It’s All The Same S***
It’s common knowledge that eating McDonald’s and smoking cigarettes is bad for your health.
If you do either or both, I’m not judging you, because you (most likely) already know they’re unhealthy. You don’t need me to tell you.
I confess that I’ve had Mickey D’s within the last month or two. It’s not a place I would leave my house to visit, but if I’m driving around and I’m busy and hungry, I’ve been known to swing in for an Egg McMuffin and a Diet Coke.
Not the healthiest — I know.
I’m just pointing this out because the last thing I am is “holier than thou.”
If you knew my whole story of alcohol and drug abuse — you would know that I’m holier than no one.
Fast food is murder on your internal organs, and of course, cigarettes cause cancer — among other ailments.
This is common knowledge in our culture, but did you know that alcohol does both?
Only 39% of Americans are aware that alcohol causes cancer, whereas, the percentage who know that cigarettes cause cancer is 90%.
