Conversation With A Conspiracy Theorist
The bridge between reality and delusion
I live in Annapolis, Maryland.
It’s a 20-minute drive to the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which you’ve undoubtedly heard of by now, no matter where you live.
I won’t even touch on the accident, its details, or its causes here. I’m one of those uninformed sheep who prefers to leave that to the experts. They are the people with the education, experience, qualifications, information, and resources currently at the scene.
Maybe I’m just lazy?
There seems to be no shortage of folks who like to “do their own research,” which seems like a painstaking task. Developing their own hypothesis must require a lot of energy — especially when they lack the education, experience, qualifications, information, and resources to do so.
The Key Bridge accident is just the latest subject on which conspiracy theorists have pounced, so I will provide a mishmash of conversations I’ve had with conspiracy theorists over the last few years.
All of which left me scratching my bald head.
