Dear Dan,

I'm an atheist.

In fact, I'm so atheist that I don't even like the word "atheist" because I don't think there should be a word for NOT believing in something that doesn't exist. (For example, there's no word for NOT believing in astrology)

It would be more accurate to refer to myself as an "anti-theist," which is someone who wouldn't want to worship God even if he thought he existed because of the atrocities that he's responsible for--like wiping out all of humanity (including innocent children and babies) with a great flood.

With all of that said...

I truly enjoy your articles--and I never thought I would say that.

I'm not even sure why the algorithms made your articles pop up on my feed, but I'm glad they did.

Even as a true non-believer I can't deny that Christianity CAN have some positive attributes--and you do an excellent job of communicating them. So much so that you aren't just communicating them--you are LIVING them. It jumps right off the page.

Bravo for you, your work, and your perspective. I have no doubt that if we met in person we would get along like the human brothers that we are.

If Christianity is going to survive the information age, it needs voices of reason like your own.
