First of all, you look great, whatever your age is.
Second, at age 54 I typically date younger women --but mostly because I wouldn't know where to find single women my age. (I don't do dating apps)
When I entered the dating scene post divorce I dreaded when a younger woman would ask me my age--but then I learned a "trick." Which was just me changing my mindset.
Instead of deflecting or making a joke or trying to change the subject (which I did in the beginning) I now say it immediately--as if she asked me what time it was.
No shame, no embarrassment, no hesitation.
Just ownership.
I've learned that potential dates are less concerned with your chronological age, and more concerned with how you "feel" about your age.
Being embarrassed or insecure is a red flag, whereas, confidence in your age makes a huge difference.
