Here's a response I got from a woman...

"Well said! I’m one of the 40%. I stopped using that label (feminist) because I didn’t want to be associated with the extremism, hysteria, victim mentality, male-bashing, black or white thinking, and bigotry of today’s feminism. I’m a woman and support rights for us and everyone else and would have been proud to use the term in the past. But, I now prefer the term “equalist.”

So...maybe don't be so offended--especially if you're a man.
