How To R.H.I.S.E.
Constantly improve the five key areas of life
RHISE: Relationships, Health, Intellect, Spirit, Economic Freedom
“The unexamined life is not worth living.”
~Socrates
The five most important aspects of life are self-evident, yet we rarely examine how we are doing in each of them. What you focus on expands, or better yet, “improves,” so when you give attention to these areas, they will naturally elevate, like magic.
First, grade yourself in each area on a scale of 1–10, with 10 being the highest. I like to use good old-fashioned school grading as a rule of thumb, meaning nine and above would be an A, eight and above would be a B, etc., while anything below a six would need improvement.
*If it’s a five or below, you don’t have to think of it as “failure,” just an area that needs immediate attention and improvement.
“How do I know how to grade myself?”
1. How you feel you’re doing in each area is the only thing that matters.
2. You are NOT comparing yourself to others.
3. A number or grade will come to mind quickly–don’t overthink it.
4. You can use decimal points for more accuracy (ex: Health–7.5)
