I get this, and I don't blame you. I'm 54, and most single men, like myself, feel the same. We've all been through the ringer.

If and when I go on dates it's with younger women who don't have the baggage--and aren't looking for a serious relationship.

The problem with most women my age that I meet is that they WANT a relationship, and I don't want to lead anyone on and leave more scars--for either of us.

I'm not looking for a hookup or one night stand either, it's been close to a year without, and I'm doing just fine. Probably happier because of it.
