I also know how difficult it is to hold certain convictions that are not received well within the AA group—even when you know in your heart they are the right thing for you.

I would never tell anyone to leave AA if they believe that it’s working for them, including you, but just out of curiosity, have you ever tried SMART recovery?

PS You can just hear the old timers grumbling that I would even mention something besides AA… but isn’t that telling?
