i’m a white man, and I fully support African-American issues and Black Lives Matter etc. I’ve had intelligent conversations with many of my African-American friends, and also complete strangers —that’s the difference between.them and you.

Not one of them has ever accused me as an individual of centuries of wrongdoing… We have fruitful dialect, and they have never called me a racist or blamed me just because I’m white.

There are some great responses on this thread from real feminists who realize they don’t have to “stroke my ego” or give me a trophy or a prize. They make their point without spewing sarcastic vitriol at me.

That’s how progress is made.
