Is There An Afterlife? I Like Einstein’s Theory
I have a lot of opinions that make people uncomfortable. You may have already read a few — so don’t get squeamish on me now. Besides, I won’t share all of them here. If I ever plan on writing another book, I’m going to need more material that makes people uneasy. Hopefully I can reach the level of success that would inevitably lead to me being cancelled.
So what I’ll share is my most important thought, because it’s the opinion that makes all other opinions obsolete.

1. You get only one life — and that’s it.
There’s no afterlife, no heaven or hell, and when you die — that’s it. The end. I know that’s not as poetic as John Lennon once put it, but you get the point.
I have shared this perspective before, but it’s not something that I like to shout from the rooftops. In person I try to exercise some restraint. It’s not my goal to impress my beliefs on anyone, but I don’t like to suppress them either. That’s the main reason I created a Medium profile in the first place.
It usually comes out when I’m having an existential tête-à-tête with a friend and they ask me, “Do you believe in an afterlife?” Or…
