It certainly is designed for a trap for men, although I don’t believe women go into marriage looking at it that way.

But… What is very common is women will have two children, settle into the boring mundane routine of marriage around middle age and decide they aren’t happy… With the next 40 or 50 years of their lives in front of them.

They can keep doing what they’re doing, or they can start fresh and kick their husbands out of the house, keep the kids, the house, and half of his assets.

I can’t say I blame women fully for this, it’s almost like we incentivize them to get a divorce and rake their ex-husband over the coals.
