It's The Real Housewives trying desperately to cling to their youth, women’s magazines and their “beauty” tips, and a zillion teen and 20-something girls semi-nude on Instagram posting selfie after selfie for the likes and validation.

Meanwhile, women are constantly tearing each other down, body shaming, and throwing each other under the bus.

The newest hot trend of getting filler in your lips was not a man’s idea. I have yet to meet a man who doesn’t think it looks ridiculous— and yet the women (girls) who are doing it keep getting younger and younger.

Most of the things that women are doing to themselves these days are not things that men have required, asked for, or even want. It’s the direct result of women comparing themselves to other women.

It’s not the patriarchy, it’s Kris Jenner— the matriarchy.

It's an entire culture of women and girls trying to “keep up with the Kardashians.”
