My Election Day Prediction
It’s 5:53 am EST, November 5th, 2024
I’m certainly no political analyst, and I'm not paying close attention to the latest polls in swing states. I haven’t watched much of the news (“fake” or “real”), and I won’t be wringing my hands as every state reports throughout the day and into tomorrow.
I have a gut feeling about who will win the election, but it’s not in my gut, really — it’s in my head.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
No matter who wins, tens of millions of American women will vote for Donald Trump. How many, exactly? That has yet to be determined, but it is probably upwards of 40 million.
That’s a shit ton of women who will be voting for a man who embodies misogyny, narcissism, adultery, and sexual abuse.
Christian women have been singing the praises of Donald Trump for almost ten years now (since the 2016 campaign), so it’s something that is no longer shocking to me.
However, I was genuinely shocked at the outcome of the 2016 election. As an independent, I was not a big fan of Hillary Clinton (or any politician), but I still assumed she would win.
But my shock paled in comparison to the look on the faces of millions of American women, young and old, who also thought she would…
