Pretending Astrology Isn’t Bullshit
And other things that can make a first date awkward
We all make a mental note of friends and family members who have birthdays close to our own — don’t we?
I still remember kids I went to high school with who shared my birthday and close friends whose birthdays were in close proximity.
My drummer, Will Dorsey Jr, is one of them. I was born on March 30th, and he was born on April 3rd, making us both Aries.
We’ve been friends and bandmates since the 90s, and I love the guy like a brother, but we are very different people in many ways. That’s probably what I love most about him. Our unique personalities complement each other.
Also, he’s my living proof that astrology is bullshit, along with all of the other Aries I know that I have little in common with from a personality standpoint.
