There's a number of reason why I left BUT...

The most important reason is because I was strongly "discouraged" from taking a medication. And not just by my sponsor, but from multiple members I trusted (at the time).

Not an opiate or a benzo or any kind of addictive med, but a med to help with alcohol cravings--prescribed by an addiction specialist.

That was a HUGE red flag for me.
