Why Men Who Support Women’s Issues Don’t Support Far Left Feminism
**From August 2024, Updated post-election
I voted against Trump, and I believed Harris could win, but 4th wave feminism and white woman woke culture are driving women, men, and minorities from the middle/left to the right in droves.
Feminism has become the left in microcosm, it can’t help itself from in-fighting, so it continues to fall behind while pointing fingers everywhere but in the mirror.
A strong woman raised me. My parents got divorced when I was eight years old, mainly due to my father’s heavy drinking and carousing.
wWhen he moved out, he remained in my life, but I only visited him every other weekend, so my mom took on the lion’s share of parental responsibilities.
My sister, three years older, often declined to visit my father, who seemed outwardly indifferent to her decision. It bothered him, I’m sure of that, but he was not well-equipped to deal with his emotions.
From an early age, I developed a mistrust of paternal figures like clergy, principals, coaches, and male authority in general. I saw the damage that my father’s drinking and verbal abuse caused — while watching my mother work two jobs to raise my sister and me and keep a roof over our heads.
